Biography
Su Anne has over 25 years of experience in legal practice and in-house counsel roles. As a former General Counsel to a group of technology start ups and a former Head of Legal, Asia Pacific, for several multi-national corporations, she has extensive experience advising C-Suite leaders and executive teams on strategic and corporate and commercial matters. She has been the lead negotiator of commercial deals with Fortune 500 companies and has helped to draft software licensing, SaaS agreements, sale and purchase agreements and other commercial contracts.
In her capacity as an advisor to start-ups in the technology and educational fields, she has advised on founder agreements, employee share ownership programmes, customer and vendor agreements, fund raising, data protection and other activities to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. She has also successfully guided start-ups to secure patent and trademark registrations and ISO 27001 information security certification.
As a former litigation lawyer who has represented companies in litigations, arbitrations and mediations, she is also in a unique position to advise companies on commercial disputes as well as advise them on how to structure agreements to avoid potential disputes.
