Biography

Roland is Partner at LYTAG Law. He has extensive legal and compliance experience across the Asia Pacific region, notably in the Consumer Manufacturing, Energy, Oil & Gas, Pharma and Telecom industries. He served as a senior business partner and sat on senior management boards, providing strategic, workable and ethical solutions to business and legal issues and risks faced by his clients and stakeholders. Roland leverages his practical hands-on experience gained from his in-house counsel experience to provide practical and sound legal solutions for his clients.

Commenced legal practice as a Legal Assistant at a reputable mid-sized Singapore law firm in 1989. Later, moved to a large GLC in the marine industry. Joined AT&T in 1992 and moved with Lucent Technologies upon the trivestiture of AT&T. Was the General Counsel and Vice President for Japan and NEA Region at Alacatel-Lucent before joining General Electric’s Energy business in 2008. Thereafter, moved to Dyson as its General Counsel for the Asia Pacific region in 2013. Was involved in various pursuits before joining LYTAG Law in 2019 and then full time in 2022.
